Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Developer Director (Consultant) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of driving business growth. This role will involve identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and leading initiatives to expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and acquisitions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners and clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on market trends and business intelligence.
  • Prepare and present business development reports and proposals to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing business deals.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development, regulatory processes, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
